We at Nottinghamshire Funeral Service Limited know that there has been a lot of negative press about unscrupulous individuals who have called themselves Funeral Directors. They are not one of us. We are committed to providing proper care and support to your loved one, from the moment we arrive to collect them to the moment they are buried or cremated. We are proud to belong to The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors, known as SAIF.

When you are looking for a Funeral Director you can trust, look for the SAIF logo, or for the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD). If a Funeral Director is a member of these associations, they will have had a formal inspection of their premises (including the mortuary, where the deceased are cared for) and they will have to adhere to the SAIF code of conduct. This inspection takes place annually.

Every single person who comes into our care is treated with as much dignity and respect as is humanly possible. We do this not out of obligation, but out of deep respect for those who entrust us with their loved one.

From the moment we walked into the Arnold branch of Nottingham Funeral Directors we new we had found the right company to look after ‘dad’. Leonie showed kindness, care and compassion from our first meeting. We asked her to bring Bella her bereavement dog to our house to meet mum while we discussed funeral plans and this beautiful creature helped us feel relaxed and calm while we made the arrangement. Nottingham funeral services took care of everything and guided all along the way. On the day of the funeral everything went exactly to plan, with Tom taking care of everything which made saying goodbye to ‘dad’ so much easier. We would like to say a massive thank you the Leonie, Tom , Bella and all at Nottingham Funeral Service.
